Long-term residents of Tamborine Mountain know our facility in Beacon Road by many names - the Croquet Club, the Bowls Club, the Bowlo, the RSL or the Tamborine Mountain Memorial Sports Centre.
Today we are simply known as CLUB TAMBORINE. The Club’s Management Committee is committed to positioning the Club as a Club for ALL of the residents of Tamborine Mountain, not just for Lawn Bowls or Croquet players.
We are an incorporated not for profit community organisation supporting the residents of Tamborine Mountain.
If you’ve never been to the Club, or if you haven’t been there for a while, please drop in to see what we’ve done with the place and what we can offer for a great day or night out.
If you’re looking for a venue to come to where you don’t have to fight with Tourists or pay Tourist prices, we’re the place to be!
We’re open 7 days per week from 10am, with our restaurant open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.
We’re always looking for new members whether they be Bowls Club, Croquet Club or Social members. Please see our wonderful staff at the Club for details or read more here.

Our newly revamped restaurant with Chef Kirri at the helm has transformed the dining experience at Club Tamborine.
With a mouth-watering range of a-la-carte menu items &
a comprehensive wine list to choose from, dining out at Club Tamborine rivals other restaurants in the area for choice, quality and value for money.
The Club restaurant menu is the perfect balance between club favourites and exciting new dishes, using the freshest locally sourced produce. We cater to all tastes and budgets, with kid's meals & senior's meals available.
We can cater for birthday bashes, seminars, training sessions, celebration of life, memorial services, engagement parties, bare foot bowls parties and more!
For all not-for-profit organisations, schools and community groups we can partner with you for any fundraising needs you have. We have many options available so contact the Club to discuss your needs.
A message from the Tamborine Mountain Croquet Club President
We are a warm, friendly group of people who love the game where males and females can play on an equal level.
The game is low impact and involves strategy and skill rather than brute strength. Some have likened it to a cross between chess and billiards/snooker the way the strategy unfolds during a game.
TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN BOWLS CLUB – THE TAIPANS
The Tamborine Mountain Bowls Club is proud to be an integral part of Club Tamborine.
The sport of Lawn Bowls is internationally recognised as a sport open to all ages and abilities, and its place in history is well known through the involvement of Sir Francis Drake. History is forever being written, and it is worth noting that Tamborine Mountain Bowls Club will be celebrating its 70th anniversary next year (2022).
Fancy a punt or a flutter on Keno or the Pokies?
Club Tamborine provides full TAB facilities with multiple TV screens. Multiple Keno screens throughout the venue keep you up to date on Keno draws and our gaming room sports multiple machines throughout with Dragon Link available.
As always, please gamble responsibly.
Recycling to Support the Community
All aluminium cans and bottles go into specific recycling bins for recycling. Proceeds from this recycling are donated to the Scouts Association.
Focus on Community Needs
Club Tamborine actively looks for ways to support the local community. Recently we installed a 30,000ltr water tank specifically for use by the Rural Fire Service and fed from the Club's bore.
Fundraising
Many of the events held at the Club have a fundraising component that is donated to local community groups, emergency services and not-for-profit organisations.
Wow! What a hidden gem! I came up the mountain and found this wonderful place. Its quiet, clean, friendly staff, excellent food! I purchased the 'Beef Cheeks' and was floored. Best I've had in a long time, and I will definitely return with more people to share this wonderful place. Do yourself a favour and make the trip
